Our Story

The Steamboat Sports Barn (SSB) is a locally based, 501(c)3 non-profit with the mission to provide a first-class, indoor year round sports facility for current and future generations. The SSB Board of Directors consists of leaders from the local youth sports community and other business leaders in the Yampa Valley.

Steamboat Soccer Club

Founded in 1984, the Steamboat Soccer Club serves over 750 athletes, ages 4-19, with recreational and competitive programming.

High Altitude Basketball

High Altitude Basketball has been providing basketball opportunities for all since 2010 by offering recreational and competitive programming for boys and girls.

Whiteout Volleyball Club

Formed in 2004, Whiteout Volleyball Club is dedicated to providing competitive youth volleyball programs through quality coaching, practices, and positive environments.

Vision

The Barn was conceived out of the overwhelming need in our community to provide indoor field and court space for local youth and adult recreational and competitive sports programs, community programming and for national athletic camps that will drive tourism and economic sustainability.
